Mission Accomplished - Success Stories from the Battlefield

Well what a great day we had on Saturday. We had a beautiful sunny sky, 21 kids and lots of space and energy. From the moment I told our kids on Friday night that they were going to play laser skirmish tommorrow they got excited. The war paint and camo gear started to appear as early as 7.30am and from that moment I knew we were going to have a fun day. Not to be outdone our adult companions (carers) also got into the act, with face paint and war-cries that would rival the real thing.

Battlezone did not disappoint. All the equipment and gear was sent up and tested on time as our kids were they’re ready to start as soon as the clock ticked 9am. The groups were split, instructions given and "the kids" vs "the adults" was on. I have never laughed so much as seeing grown men falling all over themselves to try and beat a bunch of kids as they did on that day. There was strategy at play during the morning as a mass rush against the defensive "kids" strong hold was done. This failed miserably though as the kids were too fast and nimble to be caught. After a couple of hours and lots of games, time was called, as lunch was ready. The group groaned as they wanted to keep playing but alas the food was going cold. So be assured Battlezone Playlive that Camp Quality will be back another day to continue the mission as game one goes to the "The Kids'.

We had a blast..............because as we like to say..........Laughter is the best medicine. Thanks Battlezone!!

In choosing your organisation for our festival, a superb choice was made. Battlezone was out to impress and did so. The enjoyment that you gave Merriwa and its visitors was beyond anything that the community had ever had the opportunity to experience.
In the weeks since the event there have been many positive comments made towards the laser tag. These were all positive with many of those looking forward to you coming back next year (although they would like to have a different arena)
Not only did you give Merriwa and its visitors a great time but you also helped with the running of your event to help us raise money for the community.
We look forward to discussing the Festival of the Fleeces’ display for 2009, an event as great as the one experienced this year, held again on the June long weekend.”

Battlezone Live has been a fantastic experience that was enjoyed by both the staff and student groups. The teachers at our school had such a great time we later arranged for our students to have a go as well.
